God is a Rap Star

A bit different for me and kind of experimental

God is a Rap Star

gather round the hood,
this gig's gonna be loud
gonna be well good
Gonna make us well proud!
cos
god is a rap star!

gather round the hood
the vibe is heavy,dark
gonna be wicked, it should !
gonna rain hard, gonna need an ark!
cos
 god is a rap star

gather round the hood
there's a rumble in our jungle
Gonna be mega, it could!
Gonna flash,gonna spangle!
cos
 god is a rap star!

its wicked in the hood
flashes and mega loud,
chillin in the rain ,its good!
a wicked thunderous crowd
cos
god is a rap star!

Let The Sun Shine

Let The Sun Shine

Light splinters falling among
 Human constructed monstrosity
Rays battle against human atrocity
Licking space hungrily like eager tongues,
Its radiance and beauty
Go unsung,
Its warmth undone,
By a concrete army !

A Chance At Life

A Chance At Life

I sat with tubes of red coming in and out of veins
A ritual to endure, if in life I was to remain,
A life of weakness and lethargy,
Conversing with others almost like a zombie.
Thanking god for advances in technology
Forget-me-not - Myosotis sylvatica
He lay only alive because of machines,
Bloods and tissues positively  matched and screened.
One family mourns, cries and grieves,
One family smiles relieved at the reprieve.
Thanking god for advances in technology
Forget-me-not - Myosotis sylvatica
The donor may be gone from earthly plains
Thou he and his brave family have allowed me to remain
For both families he is in our hearts
He has let my life happily restart
Thank god for his  ideology
Forget-me-not - Myosotis sylvatica
Thank You !

Poppy Fields Forever

Poppy Fields Forever

Poppies in a field of meadow
Tall, blood, red, blooms,.
Only seen by a lonesome scarecrow
Devasted as winter looms.

Young men battling in fields of sludge
For peace and freedom of choice
Some joined to escape their drudge
Allowing us to have our voice.

Poppies in a field of meadow
Tall ,blood, red, blooms,
Representing those brave fellows
Their souls here forever entombed.

Standing before you

Standing Before you

I stand before you immortalized forever in marble cold as stone
I stand before you with all I have
Feelings, emotions, sorrow reflected
By the  mantle I own,
It stands for love and passion
I stand before you
Forever in cold stone love
My love
Stands before you !

Nurture

Nurture

Gentle innocence was once mine,
Though in another life and earlier times.
Can you no longer see the child that was once within,
You who have taken me, under your wing,
Teaching me sin!

When I was a child I grasped the world in awe,
As my mentor now you challenge my boundaries once more.
Your world has invited me in , flung open its doors,
One of pure pleasure,
Behaving like a whore!

I still possess some innocence which I haven't  yet explored.
Somewhere inside, still exist a child who needs to be adored.
My boundaries I promise, will gently break,
Every pleasure you dream of
Will be ours to take!

Dead meat

Dead Meat
(feet)

There they are on the end of my legs,
Strange horrid things that sometimes look dead.
When I'm sitting they sometimes look blue,
Other times when  I've been running they take on a violet hue .

I paint the ends red, the bits that stick out!
Supposedly they look pretty , it something,
I doubt!

We wrap them up in black leather and  brown suede,
We hide them away so they aren't on parade.
Ugly, painted pretty ,covered or bare,
They're something we need and should always be there
But if you see mine promise
 Don't Stare

Lets Talk

 Lets Talk!

Speak to me, and tell me what you mean?
My sense of responsibility don't you demean!
I understand about money, family and love.
We said we'd accept each other, to god above
That means for good better or worse.
Allow me to think of more, not just what's in my purse.
I know more than cleaning, babies and the curse!

I'll accept lives troubles and woes,
I need to know how each of your days goes
Perhaps I can help you, listen, advise
Just don't make life better by telling me lies.
I know there's problems I can't make disappear
But if we can talk and listen, love and partnership may reappear !

So lets us talk, discuss,
The problems, our feelings, our trust .
For with, this I believe,
The anger and tension will be relieved
Our minds, bodies and souls can join in union
Perhaps then the old romance and feelings will enjoy a reunion.

Lets talk !

Desert Life

How is your life ?
Is it filled with strife ?
As you travel on your desert ship,
Across dunes and sands,
Until the sunshine dips.

Guiding and Guarding your tribal kin.
Watching and hoping they make it,
To sustenance before they become thin,
In your wisdom and grace,
When in turmoil its you they face!

How is your life?
How do you cope?
At times of strife,
Does your grace and wisdom
Satisfy you and your quorum?

How is your life ?
