CLEAN ME !

I wrote this as I am now waiting to go back on Dialysis as my transplanted kidney is now in serious failure I have put of the inevitable for as long as I could but know the day is looming near !

CLEAN ME !!

CLEAN ME, CLEAN ME !
My body screams
From the inside out
With those damn machines
Body screaming, shouting out,
Organ failing that's not in doubt
Skin itchy and lizard like.
Body exhausted threatening to strike,
CLEAN ME, CLEAN ME !
My body screams

Yet I have a daily fill of capsuled toxins,
Pills popping constantly, needles stinging like scorpions
Legs shaky on any incline
Hook me up now, like Frankenstein!
I finally admit I'm in defeat
CLEAN ME, CLEAN ME !
While I'm still on my feet,

 CLEAN ME, CLEAN ME !
My body screams !

Please put this on your Facebook and I would be honoured if you want to add me as a friend ...I have had my fistula now for roughly 6 weeks and with a GFR of 5 pretty sure tomorrows appointment will be that dreaded appointment when dialysis is no longer put off !!! keep smiling and hopeful the call will come for both of us soon ! check out my other poems ..A chance of life ...and Running out of time. or find them here http://lifeindegrees.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/transplant-week.html

  9. It's not always easy to put to paper what's going on inside, but you did a good job of it here. I'm in hopes that your situation turns out for the best sooner rather than later...
