The clock stopped,
As the earth rocked,
Ancient Teutonic plates,
Move, shift and reshape,
Life of man and scene,
Buildings crumbled to smithereens.

The clock crumbled,
As the earth rumbled ,
People scared, unprepared,
As the earth moved,
Settling into a new groove.

The clock's smashed,
Nature's thrashed,
Feelings frayed !
People feel betrayed,
By a higher being,
Controlling yet unseeing.

The clock will tick,
Towers rebuilt brick by brick,
Faith will once more be restored,
The controlling force once more adored,
Human's strength, will overcome the woes,
Trees and plants and lives will regrow,
Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock
Life continues it will not
STOP!

Sculpted

Sculpted

Volcanic debris there for all to see,
Mauve, moody, canyons,
Carved by a fluid life, flowing free,
Green carpeted fauna no longer its companion,
Erode and corroded, starved of warm amber beams
Old Teutonic plates shifted, wiggled and moved,
Forcing  lava upwards ,to erupt from it's earthly seams
Creating wonders of deep valleys and grooves
Void of human interference or dedication
Natures has sculpted this masterpiece
 Over centuries of solid dedication!

Natures Dance

Natures Dance
Sky Reading by A Chance of Sunshine

MY oh My don't get upset, don't cry,
Put your bad thoughts in the breeze,
Let them go, let them fly,
Dance daintily with the leaves,
For when your feeling blue,
Nature will always be there for you

My oh My don't spill your tears, don't cry,
Put all your hurt in the wind,
Sing out loud, don't sigh,
Let the hurt go, let it fly,
For when he's been unkind
Nature is there for you!

My oh my, share your true love,
Put your heart in his soul,
Dance and soar like a dove,
Let your feelings go, let two become whole,
For when you've found the one,
Natures tricks have been done !

Thank you to :A Chance of Sunshine  for the lovely picture prompt

A Colourful Life

A Colourful Life
Natasha Head

Colours fill my mind,
Memories and experiences
My history in design.

Colours fill my life,
As a mother, wife and lover,
Psychedelia runs rife

Colours are my being,
Inhabiting me within,
Kicking insecurities fleeing.

Colours make our world
Cultures and nature an artists pallet,
Mixed together in a harmonious swirl.

The world is our art
Vandalised only by the human race
A montage of peace,
 Should be our start !

She Cried Me A River

She Cried me a River

Mother Nature had a decree
That life,animals and plants,
be allowed to grow free
But along came man and played with life,
Destroying environs and causing strife.
Mother Nature tried to deliver,
In her sadness and despair,
She cried me a river!

Mother Nature wish to command,
A world full of fruits to nourish the land
But man-made chemicals changed its course,
Soon the weather would emit its mighty force,
Mother Nature tried to deliver
In frustration to cease the exploitation
She cried me a river!

Mother Nature had a scheme,
A balance on earth it is her dream,
Where man and animals could work in harmony
Become a force together....natures army!
Mother  Nature will have delivered,
In  joy and celebration.
She will cry me a river!

Beauty Abound

Beauty Abound

A glimpse of dew at the start of the day.
The sun shining on leaves as they play.
A piece of clay shaped into a loving animal.
The whoosh of sea when entered by a mammal.
A touch of a white flawless face like ivory.
The wearing of fine silk covered in embroidery.
A gleaming, gigantic bridge that meets the skies.
The graceful movement of a bird as it flies.
A sparkle from a clear white gem.
The sleek contours of fast cars preferred by men.
A whiff of newly fresh baked bread.
The scenes of sea,sun and sand in the med.
A cold icy blow from snowy weather.
The rhythm of musical instruments when they work together.
A sleepy eyed glance from your latest lover.
The soft warm, comforting embraces from your mother.
To encapsulate these within in a lotion,
Would surely be the best selling beauty potion.
We would have to put into a special box
Then let everyone have just one drop.
